Certified youth workers who have been trained through our program sort, pack and weigh recyclable waste at your institution's waste holding stations or waste collection center.
Recovery Program
Trained youth urban miners follow your safety and operating standards. They sort mixed waste by category, pack and weigh it, and record every bag on the TAKAPOA platform. The goal is to recover 70–90% of your recyclable waste, along with its data.
Safe Material Transfer
Well-packed recyclable materials are transported to licensed recyclers who turn the waste into new products. Recyclers pay for each kilogram, and the value is shared with the source organization.
Free Circularity Data Platform
We give you a platform to track all your waste circularity data as captured from our recovery operations. It enables you to optimize operations, waste management plans, compliance, reporting and future GHG accounting.
Revenue Sharing Model
Your organization earns 1–5% of revenue every quarter as an incentive for the recyclable materials supplied to recyclers, turning waste you once paid to dispose of into a steady income stream.
