1. Who we are

WAFLO CIRCULARITY COMPANY LIMITED ("WAFLO", "we", "us") of Kinyerezi, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania operates Takapoa at www.takapoa.space. Contact: waflo.africa@gmail.com or WhatsApp +255 697 511 535.

2. What we collect

Wait list details you enter: name, organization, phone number, region, minimum daily waste quantity and preferred waste audit date.
Messages you send us on WhatsApp or email.
Technical data: our hosting provider may log your IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps for security and operation.

3. How the wait list form works

The form does not send data to our servers. When you choose "Join the wait list", it opens WhatsApp with a message containing your details. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp LLC (Meta) under its own terms and privacy policy, and messages may be processed outside Tanzania.

4. Why we use your data

To respond to your request, check eligibility, arrange waste audits and communicate with you about Takapoa. Our basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in running the service.

5. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. We store one item in your browser's local storage to remember that you have seen the privacy notice. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google servers, which receive your IP address.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers that help us run the site and communicate with you (such as hosting and messaging providers), and with authorities where the law requires.

7. Retention

We keep wait list details until your request has been handled and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

9. Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 of Tanzania you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us using the contact details above. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission.

10. Children

Takapoa is for organizations. It is not directed at anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using www.takapoa.space (the "Site"), operated by WAFLO CIRCULARITY COMPANY LIMITED, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. What the Site is

The Site describes the Takapoa system and lets organizations request a place on the wait list. Takapoa services are provided only under a separate written agreement.

3. Eligibility

Takapoa works with organizations based in Tanzania that generate at least 500 KGS of solid waste daily and have a main waste holding station. Joining the wait list does not guarantee acceptance.

4. The wait list is not a contract

Submitting your details is a request for contact. It creates no obligation for you or for us.

5. Targets, estimates and examples

Revenue share ranges and recovery rates are targets, not guarantees. Dashboard values shown as XX are placeholders, not Takapoa results. Environmental figures, including GHG impact, are estimates that depend on the methodology, system boundaries, baselines, emission factors and data available, and are labelled Estimated unless independently verified. Nothing on the Site is legal, financial or professional advice, or a guarantee that any reporting framework is met. GRI is a reporting framework, and references to it describe how data is structured, not an endorsement by GRI.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt it, or submit false or misleading information.

7. Intellectual property

The Takapoa name, logos, text, images and video belong to WAFLO or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.

8. Third-party services

Links and features such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and Google Fonts are provided by third parties under their own terms.

9. Liability

The Site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, WAFLO is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Site.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and its courts have jurisdiction.
