Youth Waste Workers Program

Back

  1. Trained and Certified

Youth waste workers complete our training program and are certified before they start work at your institution.

  2. Your Standards, Your Site

They follow safety and operating protocols that reflect your organization's standards.

  3. Sorted, Packed and Weighed

At your waste holding station or collection center, they sort mixed waste by category, then pack and weigh recyclables. Every bag is recorded on the TAKAPOA platform.

  4. Green Income for Youth

Recovery work creates green job opportunities and income for youth waste workers, while supplying recovered materials to industries.
